Nothing Quite As Amazing As Grace From CHB&T
May 16, 2023 – The Chigger Hill Boys & Terri are pleased to share a beautiful new gospel single, “Nothing Quite As Amazing As Grace,” on Morning Glory Music.
This melodic song features Terri Argot Gore on lead vocals; Jim Britton on banjo and guitar, and Ricky Gore on bass. Guest musicians include Andy Leftwich on mandolin, Ben Rochester on resophonic guitar and backing vocals, and Becky Rochester on backing vocals.
“There have been so many songs written about God’s Amazing Grace; that stands for a testimony of just how amazing and indescribable His Grace is,” said Terri Argot Gore. “This song idea was started and shared with me by Mike Richards and Tony Cooper and was one of the first picks for this project. Ben and Becky Rochester really made this track blossom with their perfect harmonies. It’s sweet, simple, and profound; all that we hold dear, all we see, and in all of creation around us… There’s Nothing Quite As Amazing As Grace!”
“Nothing Quite As Amazing As Grace” is the second single release from the band’s album, Every Good Path set for release later this year. The first single, “My Path Was Paved by the Blood of the Lamb,” is #2 on the May 2023 Singing News Magazine’s Bluegrass Chart and spent four weeks on the Bluegrass Today Gospel chart reaching as high as #3. In addition, the song was #4 on the SGN Scoops Top 20 Bluegrass Chart last month and #17 this month.
The Chigger Hill Boys & Terri formed in the late summer of 2001 after a songwriting session with Terri Argot Gore and mandolin player Mike Richards who was intrigued by Terri’s natural Appalachia vocal sound. Drawing from various musical influences, the band soon developed a unique sound which has earned them numerous Dove Award nominations, and top-ten gospel and bluegrass singles.
